1 timothy 4.12

i realize i haven't updated you guys on my work life recently so here goes  ...

work hasn't been the best recently

i love my job , i honestly do 

but i have been in a bit of a dip

the spiritual responsibility i feel to the children i work with is HUGE

i know god trusts me with them and that's amazing

but i have been in a bit of a funk for a couple weeks. 

especially with adults not respecting the work i am doing (not my boss , my boss is cool ... other people)

but then i read this ....

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity -1 timothy 4.12

yes this is the face of somone who has been called to lead in a church

yes i am female

yes i am only 19

do i know what i am doing half the time , no , but god dose , and i am learning fast 

please respect the ministry god has called me to

meet my very own mini me 

my youngest sister Lexie

she is a carbon copy of me personality wise. and loves nothing better than to imitate me ...

not always a good thing

its like having a mirror for my personality and i don't always like what i see

she is the least shy 3 year old you will ever meet.

she regularly talks to the check out clerk whilst we are shopping and has , on occasion.

charmed her way to free chocolate 

i am reliably informed i was the same 

LOVES all things Disney

more specifically Minnie mouse  

i was the same just replace Minnie with Tinkerbell

and has comic timing  DOWN. 

and can hit you with one heck of a one liner when she feels like it

 uesualy in public for maximum embaressment and audience numbers

she picks up so much more than you ever think she dose. 

she can quote me 3 days after i say something word for word

its won her more arguments than i care to remember

so there you have it. my baby sister is me in miniature.

 lets hope the little prodigy picks up the good bits of me 

and learns from my mistakes

now i got to try and be the best version of myself for her to imitate 

and let her know she has a character all her own

although i don't think i am going to have any trouble on the last bit... hahaha

family time

long time no post !

well it was with good reason 

my family have been over from Canada 

i have been so busy ...

so i decoded you guys deserved an update

 

i turned 19 last Friday and had an awesome meal at my fave Mexican reasaurant to celebrate

  

Easter  Sunday was a big day for me as we had a family reunion of no less than 24 people ... 24 malones , yes it was crazy 

so crazy in fact barbie got an impromptu leg amputation , beautifully modeled by lexie  hear..

we went to south end for the day. which my sister LOVED

this would have been a good picture if minie monster had decided to cooperate 

just goofing around waiting for fish and chips

next stop , Lego land 

and no trip to lego land would be complete without  drivers licences

 

we stayed in an extremely swanky hotel but silly Lauren was so tiered she didn't get any photos

all in all its been a great Easter break 

going away for the weekend AGAIN tomorrow

so i will catch up with you soon
